I find it odd that Muslims hold on to the belief that Mohammed is the last prophet, and his doctrine can't be in error. Seeing that they believe the same God was impotent in his ability to protect his prior messages i.e. Old Testament and the New Testament. If God can be impotent once, why is it impossible to be impotent twice? We are talking about the omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent and omnibenevolent one, aren't we? How is it possible for God to be impotent? I think Nabeel was correct when he chose to reject one and embrace the other. Sahih Muslim 6668-Allah’s Messenger [said]: There would come people amongst the Muslims on the Day of Resurrection with as heavy sins as a mountain, and Allah would forgive them and He would place in their stead the Jews and the Christians. 110 Hadith Qudsi-Allah’s Messenger said: On the Day of Resurrection, my Ummah (nation) will be gathered into three groups. One sort will enter Paradise without rendering an account (of their deeds). Another sort will be reckoned an easy account and admitted into Paradise. Yet another sort will come bearing on their backs heaps of sins like great mountains. Allah will ask the angels though He knows best about them: Who are these people? They will reply: They are humble slaves of yours. He will say: Unload the sins from them and put the same over the Jews and Christians: then let the humble slaves get into Paradise by virtue of My Mercy. It's no wonder Nabeel left the cult of Islam and embraced God's grace. For the God of the Bible is the most just and the most merciful. The God of the Bible abides in the truth. Don't allow the enemy to deceive you bcos of the mistakes of these men of God. As humans, we're all fallible, and I must say that unfortunately, these men of God you talked about (and indeed, many others today) were not watchful and prayerful enough, like the Bible enjoined us to in Matthew 26:41, so they fell into temptation and sin, and now you're mocking them. Remember, Moses was a murderer, but he was a believer in God, and now he's in Heaven. King David was a murderer and an adulterer, but he repented, and he's in Heaven also bcos he was on the Lord's side. Even Pharaoh that troubled the children of Israel also repented (The Book of Jasher 81:40,41). Remember, he, Pharaoh, didn't follow his hosts into the Red Sea in pursuit of the children of Israel. God had mercy on him and saved him, and ordered an angel to take him out of Egypt to another country, Nineveh, where he reigned over the people of Nineveh, and I believe he's in Heaven today. All these were in the old testament. In the new testament, Saul of Tarsus, who later became Paul, was a radical believer in the jewish religion, who killed a lot of Christians in his time bcos they were followers of Christ. But when it pleased God to save him, He did, and Paul served God until his death bcos he had a personal encounter with the Lord that changed him forever (Acts 9:1-30). What I'm trying to say, in essence, is that there's no amount of mistakes that a believer in Christ makes that God cannot forgive, as long as he repents and strives to keep away from sin subsequently (Psalm 37:23,24). Genuine, God-fearing believers in Christ are in a better position to make Heaven than a non believer in Christ. Pls, don't miss eternal life bcos of the mistakes of us Christians. The genuine ones will sort themselves out with the Lord in their closet whenever they stumble, and God will show mercy and forgive them. JESUS CHRIST is our deciding factor for making Heaven. HE is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE (John 14:6). He is the ONLY Mediator btw God and man (1Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 9:15). Pls don't miss Him. Jesus is the Messiah prophesied in the Tanakh who from what I understand Jews are still waiting for. In the New Testament Jesus says John 5:39 "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." Jesus was the only person to live on this earth who was prepared before this earth to be out savior. The only one to live a perfect sinless life to be worthily as a sacrifice for our sins. God freely forgives and this is a testament of his love. John 3:16 " For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life". Jesus is Devine he is the Messiah, the Lamb of God. Islam started 600 years after Jesus and believes Jesus is a prophet but like Judaism rejects him as the Savior the Redeemer. Jesus sits at the right hand of God and his sole purpose is to glorify God.
